Small-Boat Whale Watching at Its Best
Intimate. Safe. Stable. Fast. Custom Built to put you right alongside the action.
Sydney’s Best Whale Watching Boats

Our whale watching vessels, Cheeky Monkey and Monkey Business, are purpose-built Noosa Cat 4400 catamarans designed to provide a safe, stable and comfortable platform for observing whales.

The twin-hull design offers excellent stability in a range of sea conditions, while the spacious deck layout allows guests to move freely around the vessel.

A unique feature of our boats is the custom-built side walkways, which extend along both sides of the vessel. This enables guests to spread out and enjoy unobstructed views of the whales, rather than standing in rows behind one another.

To maintain a comfortable onboard experience, we limit each tour to a maximum of 34 guests, ensuring there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the experience.

Both vessels are fitted with a full overhead rain cover and roll-down clear side screens, providing protection from the weather and sea spray while still allowing excellent visibility. An onboard toilet is also available for your convenience.

Our experienced skippers and crew maintain the vessels to the highest safety standards, so you can relax and enjoy one of Australia’s most remarkable wildlife experiences.

Monkey Business combine safety, comfort and outstanding visibility—giving you the best possible opportunity to experience Sydney’s spectacular humpback whale migration up close.

When the whales surface just meters from the boat, you’ll quickly discover why small-boat whale watching is simply a better way to experience these magnificent animals.

Curious George

Curious George is a purpose-built Cougar Cat designed to provide a safe, stable and comfortable whale watching experience.

With an impressive 5.5-metre beam, the vessel offers a generous amount of deck space, allowing guests to move around freely and enjoy excellent viewing from a range of locations onboard. The wide catamaran design also provides outstanding stability, making for a comfortable ride both in Sydney Harbour and offshore.

A spacious flybridge offers an elevated viewing platform, providing a different perspective of the whales and the spectacular Sydney coastline.

For comfort in all conditions, Curious George is fitted with a full overhead rain cover, offering protection from the weather while allowing guests to continue enjoying the experience. An onboard toilet is also available for your convenience.

As with all Whale Tales vessels, guest numbers are limited to ensure everyone has plenty of room to move around and enjoy the experience in a relaxed, uncrowded environment. Maintained to the highest safety standards, Curious George provides a comfortable and practical platform for experiencing Sydney’s annual humpback whale migration
