United for the Ocean: Whale Tales Joins Forces with Sea Shepherd

Sea Shepard have been defending the rights of the whales and marine animals since 1977. We are perticularly impressed by their current campaign to stop krill fishing in the Southern Ocean:

Krill, which are a small shrimp like crustaceans are the primary food source for the Humpback whales. The whales eat vast amounts of krill during the summer months in order to undertake their annual migration without eating. The mother whales need this energy to birth and feed their calves during the migration, one of natures hardest and most impressive feats.

Giant fishing boats are fishing the krill for human consumption, this can only end badly for the whales. We urge you to avoid buying any supplements or foods that contain krill and to support Sea Shepard in their quest.
