You don’t need to pack like you’re going on an epic odyssey, but you do want to be comfortable and prepared. Here’s a quick checklist:
- Warm clothing: The ocean breeze can be cool even on sunny days.
- Windbreaker or waterproof jacket: Protect you from that salty sea spray.
- Sunglasses: On sunny days that water glare can be strong.
- Hat and sunscreen: Always remember your sunsmarts!
- Camera or smartphone with zoom capability: We like to get you as close as we can, but we’re always respectful and never crowd our marine friends.
- Closed-over shoes: Grip-friendly soles recommended just in case it’s a bit choppy out there.
- Motion sickness tablets, if you’re prone to it, we also love those Ginger gummy bears you can get from the supermarket.
- Reusable water bottle: It’s important to keep hydrated. 😉
